So far we have 3 logos and 2 slogans.

@ the first logo. It looks good! but it could look better if the background what you mapped was a hell, and not lava. Maybe something like the PoI, with all those skeleton pilars etc, that could lookm pretty neat:O just a suggestion, don't flame

As slogan, maybe: Art from hell, or Hell has art, dunno. Cuz if you use the world 'mapping' you have 'mapping' 2x in the logo. First time as forum name, and second time as slogan :O. but again, just a suggestion so don't burn me:D

Offtopic; the layout atm is pretty nice. I mean, the orange is a happy colour, and I have no problems with reading at all. If the layout turns to red and black, new ppl will think it is something like a Ghotic-Emo site with scary, bloody pictures.
I'm not sure, cuz i don't know what colours you are planning, but you have to know that this isn't bad:O

What about put a low opacity random photos of a map (hells part) and some MapEditor menu?
And the 'mappershell' you can do black brushes will appear that the 'name' already burned in someparts (looks cute, I already made this )

Btw you can make the fire better... If i get any pc with a Photoshop I'll try do something like I'm talking based on your logo.

Had to hurry, I just ran out of ideas when I accually tried x] plus I'm heading to work in five minutes or so. x]

When I made it I thought about red as hell, also about the 2 mapeditors currently used and about something that has with mapping to do. So I made it red, black and inserted a part of a minimap. (from a map of mine). and added a suitable slogan which I think suits perfectly.

I could make a frame for it if necessary.

By the way Bruce. Did ya see my slogan? Though I guess I was ment to put it into the Header? ^^ If so I'll fix it soon.

The slogan may be written on the logo and may be just a line.
The sentence will be used as a header.
If you look at forum index, you'll see the header is 'Mapping The World'.
