I saw this thread a while ago where someone asked how the new cave entrances in 8.1 worked. Today I needed those myself and decided to find out how they work, so here we go. [Basics] 8.1 Cave Entrance use by GriZzm0 Wink

1. First we'll need to add a floor changing tile (the invisible floor change tile (ID: 459)

2. Then we'll add our entrance. Note that this item is walkable and will change floor as we got a floor changing tile below it. (ID: 8202, 8203, 8210, 8211, 8212 or 8213)

3. Now we got a fully working cave entrance. But as the normal "mountain ground" is a tile it would replace our floor changing tile if we added it at the same tile. To make the cave entrance "melt" into the mountain CIP added a new item which looks like the mountain tile but in fact is a non-blocking item instead. (ID: 8260)

4. Now we can map a mountain around our cave entrance. NOTE: Don't add the mountain ground tile on our cave entrance (ID: 919) or it wont work as that tile is blocking and will replace our floor changing tile.

Yeah, thanks. I didn't know that. Altough I think I'll script them as Movements instead. Less work in the mapeditor ^^
