[MUST READ] General rules

I made this this morning, since there are no general rules at this forum...
Please tell me if there is something missing, or some punishments have to be changed.

1. General posting:

1. No bumping, unless the oldest post is > 1 day old. Don’t bump twice or more times after
each other. The post will be deleted. After multiple deletions you get a
warning.

2. No spamming. Don’t double post messages. Only post something when you got something to post.
The moderators stipulate if a certain post is spam or not. Spam posts will be
deleted. If the member is spamming a lot, he will get a warning.

3. No trolling. Do not post any topic that disrupts the peace and harmony of this board. Don't
create meaningless threads with the sole purpose of starting a dispute. This
includes messages in profiles and signatures.

4. No Flaming. Do not post any messages that harass, insult, belittle, threaten or flame another
members or guests. Give critics.

5. No offensive posts, links or images. Please do not post any messages that are obscene, vulgar, sexually-orientated, hateful, threatening, racist, sexist, discriminatory, or otherwise violative of any
local or international laws. This includes links in your signature, profile, bookmarks as well as posted images, photos and avatars. If you do so, you will get a temporary ban. In that time the managers will discuss what to do.

6. No dangerous posts, that include links, images or files which are out to gather information,
damage, modify or touch the users' computer in any way. This includes links in
your signature, profile, bookmarks as well as posted images, photos and
avatars. Staff will ultimately decide if something appropriate or not.

7. No copyrighted material. Please do not post any copyrighted material. This does NOT
concern the real tibia map.

8. No cheats. Please do not post any cheats. This does not include multi-client edits.


2. Signature:

1. Content Restriction. Your signature may have links to your own website or any other
website as long as it doesn't break the rules 1.5 and 1.6 about offensive
and/or dangerous content nor 3.1 and 3.2 about self-promoting.

2. Size Limitations,
Your signature may only contain 6 rows of pure text while using normal-sized
text. Blank rows do also count. Your signature may only contain 4 images as
long as they don't override 450 pixels wide, 150 pixels high and 150 kilobyte
in total.


3. Self-promotion:

1.You are not allowed to post any messages advertising for your server, website or software
anywhere in this forum. Except of the special made section for the OT
advertising (it is not sure if it will come to this forum).

2. You are not allowed to post any messages with referral
links which helps you gain money, points/gold on any webgame or anything
similar. Those links in signatures are allowed.
