Hell's Song

This story I made some time ago and it's only based on a scratch of map I never finished and never touched again. It had two main continents and several small islands scattered all over it's surroundings. One of the continents was placed over the west-northern part of the world. Most of it was jungle type with some variations to desert (south-most). The other continent was placed east-southern. It had some nice grass plains and poisonous terrains. If you took a look at the map from far away you could see that both continents were pretty far from each other and formed somewhat a huge letter O. It looked a bit like this

So if you can understand the drawing, there is a huge water space in the middle. The story bellow tells us how this space has been occupied and how a new era as
started to that world. This story has never been use dby me nor has it been taken from any other place. If you want it, feel free to use/modify or w/e you might like.

As soon as the Hell's Song finished, another earthquake started and far in the
ocean the water started to evaporate and a massive cloud of vapor took place.
People from both continents could see that a huge mountain started to rise
where the cloud of vapor was. The Black Mountain.

The story is pretty much this. I never went further than that.
The idea is to make both old continents mostly hauted by fearsome creatures, like undeads, nightmares, poi-creatures of all kinds. While the human kind lives on the underground. The old towns are destroyed and only a few brave man live on the surface. The Black Mountain shall be dark, maybe made with that 'frozen mud' sprite. It shall have mostly fire monsters living there.


Dunno if it's a good story, but with a bit more detailing and work, it shall have a nice RPG story into it. The main RPG shall be how to kill the devil himself. Parallel storys might be with brave warriors that saved people, tried to kill the devil, fought with creatures... it's up to you.

Well.. actuallity it is a good story
I'd be happy if you continue your story!
When i read it, I remember to "Lord of the Rings" and the dark lord of this story.
Well, one more thing to say: Your Story could be a part inside sth... not at the beginning or end - in the middle of a whole story.
I think you should make a happy beginning like: "It was a wonderful thuesday afternoon. The sun shone brightly, kids and old people played together and and and...."
Would be cool if you continue it!

Acctually, I made it more as a mapping idea.
So the map and the continents have some meaning... that's why I never went further with the story.
Most of my maps have at least a story line so it makes sense. This would be one, but I never keept it up.
And I didn't want to get into the ordinary story... happy ending and happy start is way too normal... It just starts on a normal day, where everyone was doing what they always do.

But yeah, if you want to edit it, it's yours =P
