I hate simOnes RME rocks

I use both

Simone 4ever... I'm sry, but I find RME a bit noobish...
Dunno why, but I really have a big problem with that map editor... =P

I used SimOnes too, untill Remere's came.

some misunderstandings:

-RME maps are noob.
|No, RME maps by noobs are noob. The same as SimOne's ME maps by noobs.

-SimOnes is better for details.
|No, if you use the RAW pallet at RME and put auto border off it could be the same. The thing is, if you use RME you get lazy and don't want to put any details in it, but that doesn't say anything about the map editor.

SimOnes is a great map editor, but I prefer RME because of the amazing auto bordering and randomizer. If you give Chau or MmB the RME, the maps won't get badder, believe me:)

Well, my point of view is a bit different...
For me, mapping is like creating a painting...

With Simones you simply create the picture, the master piece.
While with RME it's like having a 'auto detailing brush'.... or something like it... it almost does everything for you... you need no real effort to make a nice map...
I know I've seen lots of good maps done with RME, but then again, if we count 100 maps done with RME, about 2-3 will be really good.

I dunno, thats my point of view and it's been really hard to change it.

well, about the 3 good maps of the 100 rme maps is true, but that is like that because rme is easier to use>easier for noobs>famous at the noob comunity> famous at 99.9999999% of tibia

I use both. Sim0nes for details and RME for land, hills, etc

Remere's for everything and Simone's for making houses. and it still is the best since it's bugless. :O

Remere for everything, since I'm to lazy to make the houses myself, I force my sister to do them for me. XD

RME for the win!

I use RME, mostly because when I'm bored I can do some stuff a bit faster then run through a whole list of items in Simone, but I used it before RME came...

Both are good simone for the details and rme for make maps fast

not that fast, if you want to make your map as detailed as with simone, it takes a little shorter, but not that much, it only goes faster because of the grass tufts, small stones and other shit which randomizes automatically

I personally ONLY use Remere's MapEditor, its not that I dont like SimOne.. Its that I've never tried it..

SimOnes Map editor is since tibia 7.1 or something?
over 5 tibia versin rme will be the best..

RME would be the best if Remere would make the things a bit more sorted, that's why i use both RME and sim0ne's... like many others. But, RME is geting more features by the time, so when this will be added, i'll stop using sim0ne's
